Madwire our trusted marketing partner

Madwire Web Design
It's just been recent that Will (at Madwire Media) has been working with me on my account, but I've had great response to the work he is doing and I really feel like he is looking out for the best interest of my company (http://www.JCsWildlife.c… ). He understands what I want and where I want to go with this - and I feel like he's a partner in this with me.With the recent Shark Tank promotion - I gave your team 6 hours prior to the show and you jumped all over it and getting everything taken care of right away. I really didn't think you would make it - but it was up with time to spare. We had great ideas, awesome banners, and great work on the website and we were 2nd every time I pulled it up on Google. As a result, we had the highest number of visits and sales we've ever had.Thank you to everyone that helped to make this happen - we sincerely appreciate it.Chris BriggsJCs Wildlife

Madwire scam

Madwire cheated me out of $7310. Very slick sales pitch.

Dont be deceived. Madwire is an intentionally deceptive business.

Stay clear of Madwire Media/ Marketing 360

Madwire Media/ Marketing 360 is a huge scam, they promise the world to you but deliver you to a remote desert island thousands of miles from shore. They *** you and talk in circles in order to keep you hanging on by a thread so they can keep extracting $2000-$3000 a month from you while maybe spending $200-$300 on google adwords, etc.

They transformed my already great website into a mediocre copy. Their team will have you believing that your biggest problem once you sign up will be how in the world to service all the extra business you will be recieving........WRONG. They tried to post fake reviews to my google. They did something with our phone number so that we were getting calls from all over the state for other flooring companies, probably 100 calls from pissed off people wondering why their calls to other flooring stores were being routed to us????

Totally unprofesional and dirty tactics used by this company.

How do they get away with this, by extorting enough money from you before you figure it out so they have plenty of money to wipe away all their bad reviews and to pay lawyers to bully you. STAY CLEAR IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR BUSINESS AND/OR MONEY, ONLY WISH I LEARNED BEFORE THEY STOLE $8000 FROM OUR COMPANY

Madwire Web Design's reply dated Sep 11, 2017 to: Madilyn Jcc's review

We worked with this company for a few months. There were Google Search ads and Facebook ads, but more budget was used for SEO type activities than ppc. Completed activities included blog posts, page content optimization, title tag and meta description optimization, blog architecture optimization and keyword research. The three leads from Facebook ads came in on July 8, July 9 and July 10 (ads ran for 5 days). Organic leads were on July 29, August 1, August 6, August 9, August 22. Looking at Jun 21 - July 7 compared to July 8 - July 24, the number of keywords ranking organically went from 57 to 221. Organic listings resulted in 242 clicks. When comparing the period of 7/13 through 8/31 to the previous period with the date range of 5/24 through 7/12: Impressions increased by 311.29%. Keywords Earning Organic Impressions increased by 134.17%. Pages Earning Organic Impressions increased by 22.22%. Organic Clicks increased by 662.96%. % of Clicks increased by 813.22%. Organic Click Through Rate increased by 85.53%. The site got suspended only after there were past due payments that included hosting services, and sufficient notice was given. Our hosting providers require payment in order to maintain services. We hoped to find an alternate solution for this client and are happy to discuss things further.

fraud Madwire.com & Marketing360.com

i contacted marketing360.com for my SEO work. in Beginning they told me that i will be on 1st page within 2 months and you will get enquiries from 2nd month onward.

my website is www.guruyogpeeth.com & we are in yoga Teacher training School at Rishikesh, India. i believed them and started my SEO work for 6 month. but they took 2 months to build new website and told me we work only 5 days a week. thats the reason it took 2 month.

they are just menting money from clients on the name of SEO. i paid they for 4 months but till date i have not received single client from their SEO work. i was paying 1495$ per month. when they worked for 1st month they said we will give you our best Hosting for 1 year and we will built new website.

Jordan Volkmer the manager from marketing360.com is very sweet. he has lots of Excuses in this email. and when ever you raise the issue he will ask for telephonic conversation and he will give you nonce excuses. now i have stopped paying because they have not done my work.

as they are located in USA. i thought they will be very good help for me, as they say the are Googles no.1 partner. but being in india i couldnt visit their company. i think they only do SEO for Markerting360.com so that people view their website is top on google and people around the world will give them job and they just put paid Ads on Google and relax.

now they have suspended my website.

i want to take them to Court,so that they dont cheat anyother people. please let me know how can i.

Madwire Web Design's reply dated Oct 31, 2016 to: Leiloni Xin's review

Work began in late April, and we started on the website design first, which came for free with the marketing. The design went live on May 4th, 9 business days later. It was an ecommerce site. Then we started on the marketing. Ads ran for about a month on Google and some on Facebook. Some of our options were limited, as far as what ads or ad platforms we could run on, because of content or image resolution and platform guidelines on Facebook and Google. Our focus initially was on branding, and we were targeting fans of Real Housewives shows – which was where Facebook came in. One element that we know takes longer to show results is the organic side. Having only worked on the marketing for several weeks, the organic side of the equation wasn’t showing results, yet. Once organic traffic starts to pick up, the cost per conversion decreases. We always do everything we can to provide results as quickly as possible. Our success is dependent on our ability to establish long-term relationships with our clients, beyond the six months. It’s in everyone’s best interests, including our own, to get as many results as quickly as possible. But we also have to operate within budget and industry restraints. We are available anytime to discuss these concerns and a resolution.

Do not use this company. My business no longer exist because of them

I hire marketing 360 and their partner Madwire at the end of April 2016 this year for my new t-shirt line and was assured by the sales team and after watching their videos that they had a 95% return on investment for all their customers. I was very apprehensive about signing up in the first place due to my limited budget.

I told the sales team before hiring them that I needed results within the 1st 2 months to keep them employed and to keep the doors to my business open. After spending $1495 the first month I got 1 sale. After spending $1495 the 2nd month I got 5 sales. After spending a total of $3000.00 and them saying I had over 90,000 views at the ad, I don't need views I needed conversions.

I even had to tell the sales team to at least add a Facebook like button, so I could see if people were even seeing the ads. I suggested to do Instrgram and google shopping as a platform they rejected and convince me that pay per click ads was the way to go, whiched draine my budget before the month was out. All they kept saying was increase your budget that will help get sales. I told them from the initial conversation this would make or break my business.

If I hired them and had no results that would make me have to shut the doors to my company forever because that was all the budget and money I had raised for the company. They have the nerve to want more money for a poorly design website that did not make me a total of 7 sales. So when you break down the $1495.00 I paid this company, that translate to almost $400.00 per sale. I should have went with my gut instinct not to hire them, but after all the reassuring from the sales team that I would get my money back and working for me and I could grow and expand my company then I was OK, but still not excited.

I only wanted to do a 3 month deal, but they said I could only do 6 months. Every week I sent a email of concern and asked why I wasn't getting any sales if supposedly 9,000 people saw the ad or even a like. I have kept all my emails and will go a step further to get them off my back for lying and costing me shutting the doors to my business.

Please don't get fooled like me.

When my business coach sent me a link to all the bad reviews, I should have walked away then. This seems to be a money sucking, putting people out of business company.

BUYER BEWARE!

BUYER BE WARE!

I'm a newer business owner and searched many different web developers before choosing madwire. After speaking with madwire sales, they sounded like a good options, but I was completely wrong. Madwire is great at marketing/selling themselves, but horrible at doing the same for you. They over promise and do not deliver. Being a newer business owner I had very little marketing budget and Madwire sucked it up, and completely wasted it. I saw 0% return on my investment! I had to handwalk them through every step of the development process, spending hours of my time to make sure all typos were fixed, and there were A LOT. I spent thousands of dollars because they were suppose to be the experts, if I would have known then what I know now, I would have saved myself over $3000 and built it myself. Now I'm having to spend several thousand more to have another site built by a reputable company. When I called with concerns or issues about my site, I was informed that I wasn't paying for the website, that is was "free", and that I was paying for marketing and paid advertising, and I received no help.

Learn from my mistake, DO NOT hire madwire. There are many other reviews out there that say the same thing as mine. Do your homework, and don't get burned like we did! This business should NOT have an A rating!

I will say one thing for them though, their staff is very nice, but I didn't pay thousands of dollars for someone to be nice to me, I needed results.

every complain I read about this company sounds familiar. This is their model.

1. get a couple great sales people to make you feel they are going to kill it for you and with you. 2. put you with a team that does not guide you and confuses more and more throughout the process.

3. by the time you realize they have no clue what they are doing you try and part ways but are stuck in a contract. They got us for around $25k and countless of wasted hours going around in circles. 4.

This is what they are good at. Making sure they keep your money and make you feel its your fault.

They probably employ more people to handle charge backs then they have folks working on your direct to consumer marketing strategy. btw their founder is a man of God and professes he is truly blessed.

Guest

Anyone knows how to get out? I only signed on the day before yesterday and they have not started working on it at all except the kick off meeting.

They want $2300 to get out of the contract. Don't I have three days to change my mind?

Guest

I have them now. Same thing as you describe. Any company that you would recommend?

Madwire360 is bad news, with liars and *** artists. What a waste of money Madwire360 is.

They hire very "nice" friendly salesmen who really seem to "care" about helping you.

The truth is they are just hoping you will never call or bother them. Bad company, terrible results, do yourself a favor and just start a bonfire with the money, at least you can roast marshmallows!

Guest

Wow, Sounds like my experience. Have you noticed that they spend alot of energy (and probably money) making bad reviews/comment disapear from search engines??

The word needs to get out these guys are bad news. I spent over $9,000 by signing a 6 month contract for them to to our marketing.

What a waste and the worst decision of my business. But I'm glad it happened in the early life of my business when I only had $9,000 to spend because if my business was further along, I probably would've lost a lot more money.

Sounds all to familiar. Now I'm having a difficult time finding someone to manage the website. Madwire360 will make changes but I can't justify the fee they charge.

Guest

You just described EXACTLY what happened to me. I had to guide them step by step on the entire design process.

Their copy writing looked liked a foreigner wrote it. I even had to tell them to use the same font throughout the site over 5 times. They still haven't corrected it!

Madwire Media / Marketing360 are a complete joke. Save your time, money and sanity and DO NOT do business with them.

Our results for this ppc campaign included three legitimate lead submission forms, on May 9, June 11 and July 1. There was also 1 mobile click to call and 3 phone calls. The ads were all targeted locally, which we could see in Analytics: http://prntscr.com/4au042 Organic traffic increased by 20% when comparing the last couple months of marketing to the first couple months. http://prntscr.com/4atzex As you can see, the % of new sessions and % of new users for organic traffic also improved as follows:

- % of New Sessions increased from 73.54% to 93.18%
- New Users increased from 239 total to 369 total

When comparing Adwords Express with our ppc campaign, approximately double was being spent with AdWords Express, which would explain a difference in results.

This client was contacted by not only a manager but also by our CCO regarding his concerns. It’s important to us that our clients feel heard and that we are able to address all concerns brought to the table.

This particular program ran for only four of the contracted six months. Combining paid search with search engine optimization, as well as conversation rate optimization is a longer term, but more sustainable approach. Ranking organically takes time, but once a page is ranking traffic does not cost per click. The advantage to paid search is that we can show an increase in traffic as soon as the ads are running. Together we can collect data on what keywords are most effective, thus optimizing our efforts. In addition to organic and paid search, Conversion Rate Optimization is important.

When this client cancelled we were in the process of creating an interface, which allows our clients to login and see all aspects of their account at any time. This includes:

- Activity on the account from their account manager, specialists, designers and developers, etc.
- Allocation and use of funds
- Paid search progress and results
- Organic progress and results
- Website analytics
- Billing history
- More

This interface has since launched. We recognize our clients want to see these things on demand, as opposed to weekly or monthly reports. Providing such transparency is beneficial to both parties, allowing us to better collaborate.

Empty Promises - Delayed Service - No Leads, No Results

This has been one of the worst experience I have ever had with a marketing company. I have spent tons of personal money, and they have provided little to no results in 5 months with them. It makes me sad to even have to go through these things. Here are the items which have been REALLY frustrating since day one:

They COPIED AND PASTED my own website content and created new so called "FRESH BLOG POST" so they tell me.

They have completely ignored what I wanted and invested money in keywords I didn't pick.

They have NO ANALYTICS for you to track what they are actually DOING - so you are always in the dark.

They use a My-Click-to-Call application system to record CALLS coming from their campaigns and for 1 month, every time I answer the call, the call would drop - so I had no way of even talking to clients over the phone, or their phone system - complete waste.

Since I have no results, they have threatened me to sue me if I canceled.

--

The worse, I can only cry about it, it was all PERSONAL money and now my business have no leads or a good legitimate company who actually CARES. WHY are there companies STILL in this world who promise a service and simply DO NOT follow through?

I did Adwords Express on my own and got MORE results prior to hiring them. You better off doing that as well.

We don’t have a client in our system under this e-mail or name, but we suspect it is someone named Erich Niemann. If that is who it is, we have tried to make contact to find resolution eleven times in the last month with no response from Erich – aside from him going out and posting negative reviews online to hurt our business.

As with all of our clients, we always are willing to find fair resolution. In order to do that, we need for those individuals to reach out and communicate with us directly, though. We welcome and encourage the reviewer to contact us.

Erich completed and paid for 2 of the 6 month program he committed to, plus provided us with additional funds for Google in month 2. All funds provided for paid search were spent, resulting in the following:
· 2.21% click through rate indicating high quality ads

· 133 site visits, which was 39% of site’s traffic

· 1.42% conversion rate

· 2 conversions – form submissions

· 1 phone call

· 1 mobile click-to-call

Here are the results from our efforts regarding organic ranking and traffic:
· organic traffic increased 81.25% just over the course of a couple weeks. http://prntscr.com/2hxh24

· all other statistics for the website’s organic traffic were also improved, with the exception of % New Visits, which actually isn’t a bad thing if that goes down, because we want people to make return visits to the site. When searched on Google, the site was showing up as the first listing in the maps section. http://prntscr.com/2hxld1

Looking at the limited data we had from the last few weeks they were Marketing in Google Analytics, site stats are good.
· bounce rate is below average (which is a positive), and pages per visit, as well as average visit duration are good. Here is an overview: http://prntscr.com/2hxjke

We provided a high quality, convertible site and completed the Marketing. We did not have the chance to complete 4 months of a 6 month program, but as you can see above were still able to show progress and results.

They did not build a custom website as they stated they would.

6 weeks ago, Madwire Media sales rep stated that they would build a custom website for me. I asked if it would be custom, or a customized template. He stated to me very specifically that it would not be a template. I would have been okay with a template. But after three weeks of waiting and wondering what they were going to create for me, they sent me a generic wordpress template with a company name added, banner text filled in, and subtitles. That's it. It was sort of a mock-up. But mostly just a generic template...

The rep had stated at sign-up that they would not need content for three weeks. After the website was to be built, then they would put in the content.

I could not work on content last week due to other obligations. But, today, after 2 days of submitting content to the content writer that pasted the content into the template for me, Steve, a manager, called me and statated that I was tying up his content writer by sending her content as I finished it. He then requested that I get all the content finished, the photos selected and sent in, the forms, the email account (that they don't deal with), any other changes that I can think of, the merchant account portal, the docusign portal..... Everything exactly how I want it so they will only have to work on the template 1 time. They say the marketing department will do any changes that are needed after the site goes live...

I dont know, maybe I am wrong. But wouldn't I want the site to be the way I want it before it goes live, especially if they are anxious to start the marketing.

I am not a webdesigner. But they have delegated all of the legwork to me.

Whenever I talk about how my website looks. They must all be trained to say, " It doesn't matter how it looks, as long as it converts." I have heard that statement from two staff members so far.

The worst part is, I am not sure that working with them will get any better in the future. I only have a 6 month marketing agreement for $1000.00 per month. So I get the marketing whether they build my website or not, as long as I pay, I assume. Although the site is at least week away from completion... about 6 weeks after signing-up now...

I was required to pay the second months marketing payment of $1000.00, although the website isn't finished or online yet. So I am $2000 deep into an incomplete wordpress template after 6 weeks, artially my fault.

I should be writing content now. But I am so dissapointed in the mis-representation of the sales staff and "Go live" team manager, that I had to get this out... Steve finally admitted that the template was customizable rather than custom. But he has disregarded that I was mislead during the sales presentation, and that he has also tried to explain away the misrepresentation.

I am not happy that I am not happy with my decision to use them, so far. First of all, don't lie to me. And don't lie to me to cover someone elses lie. Admit your mistakes and try to make up for them. And never tell your customer that they are wasting your staffs time.

I wasted 3 weeks waiting for something that was never going to happen. And now I'm doing all the legwork that could have been done during that time....

I hope the marketing department is suprisingly different than Sales, and the "go live team"... I haven't even spoken to a webdesigner. I guess you have to be an employee to do that. Because I guess customers would waste the designers' time.

Isn't it possible that a web-designer could save some valuable time if he knows what the client wants. There is no reason for guess work. That's not what I pay for!

The website is free. But I will owe them to maintain it if I stop using their marketing..$45 per month is the fee... And If I default on the marketing, I will owe $3000 for the site added to the $6k for marketing that has not been used. So the website isnt free...

So build it for me like I am a $9000 customer for now. And a potential long term client.... And never again tell me that I am wasting your time!

Madwire probably thinks that this is a waste of their time.

BUYER BEWARE!

I found Madwire Media to over-promise and under-deliver. Their blog postings were ridiculously short, averaging four sentences and consisted of glorified advertisements.

A doctor in the office told me “I don’t want to associated with such pathetic statements and will leave” if this continues. In 6 months I got NO RESULTS! Not a single referral or even a phone call, despite promises otherwise.

Even worse, when it came time to part ways, I had to deal with “attitude” from management and repeatedly remind them that I was the customer! For the amount of money paid I and what I got as a product of it I would say I got ripped off!!

Complete lies

These guys quoted 6-8 weeks in our contract. After 12 they said the contract only was a best case.

Also after 12 weeks they said my web page was complete.

I was no where near complete, and when I pointed that out, they said that by complete, they meant the rough first pass.

The add on logo was a complete joke, and just a rip off of my work.

I finally had enough, and told them I didn't believe anything they had to say any more, keep the money, and just don't bother me anymore.

I hate hate hate these crooks.

I had spend 5k for a eCommerce website from these guys and I was told by the sales team it would be able to-do everything I wanted. I said great, lets meet to discuss what i wanted. I drove down to there location and provided them with a large mind map with exact details of exactly how i wanted everything to function. I explained in extreme detail how i wanted everything to work. The sales team said sure we can do all of this. Sign here so we can get started.

The first project manager i had did not seem to know much about eCommerce sites, He had been building the mockup's as if it was going be a wordpress site... after a few months and only seeing a few design mockups. I got ahold of the upper management explaining my issues. They then assigned me a new project manager. This guy seemed to know a bit more about building websites than the first. however in the end, when they started programming the site. I was told over and over again that what i originally told them was not possible. "Bigcommerce cant do what you are wanting" My 5k was completed trashed... I had to start over with a new platform.

Bigcommerce is a very limited platform if you are wanted highly customized shopping carts and pricing structures.

madwirewebdesign looks great and sounds great but my experience was horrible and a complete loss of 6 months and 5k. I would not trust there sales team. If you do decide to work with them, I would get in writing exactly what they are claiming they will provide.

Loss:
$5000

This sounds a lot like my experience with Madwire, sadly. To look at their website and talk to their sales folks, you'd think you'd died and gone to web marketing heaven!

Once the reality sets in on your project, it's too late, sorry, Charlie! I spent $2k on my site and search marketing project with virtually no results. Guess I should count my lucky stars it wasn't worse. But as soon as the 'everything's possible, you'll love us!' tune started to change to 'ummm, errr, uh well you see...' that's when I pulled the plug.

Buyer beware of the glossy finish and glib claims of wondrous service. These guys are heavy on sales and marketing, very light on actual know how, service and delivering.

Shop around and be as specific and as clear as possible on your objectives and requirements for your site, search marketing, etc. If whoever you are talking to at whatever web shop starts to give you the shine and gloss over the details - run and don't look back!

My experience was the total opposite of what the complaints above have stated. My sales person was straightforward, and the marketing has my business growing more every month.

They did state the limitations of the BigCommerce cart, but they also mentioned the SEO value it held. All of the design, development, and especially the marketing process has been phenomenal and I have made my initial money back more times than I can count. If you read this, don't buy into the negativity.

Most likely written by jealous competitors. These guys are pros.

I think this person (Happy Customer) is a part of the management team - not a real customer!!!

I first contacted Madwire about a year ago when I first bought my Big Commerce site. I contacted them to design the entire website and was qouted about $2800. I thought that was expensive so I tackled it myself. The people at BC helped greatly and I was able to make a pretty attractive website for a person that had never done it before. I designed my own banner and logo that went well with the BC template I had chose.

So let's fast forward one year later to yesterday. I called Mad Wire again for a qoute on a design to my website. Since I had already had a running website at this point and wanted just a new design with the fonts and how things would appear I expected it to be cheaper since they were not starting from scatch like they would had been doing when I called the first time.

Well this time I was qouted $540 a month with a 6 month contract. The salesperson told me the design work was free and I was paying for marketing and to get to the top of google. What a crock of BS I thought to myself when I heard this. I told him I called a year ago and had there been any changes with the prices and he insisted that there had not been. They promise you so much on the phone...great sales pitches and they sound so sure of what they are saying and confident...but no money back gaurantee's! If you are 100% sure shouldn't you be able to back it up with a gaurantee?? If you weren't very smart you would fall for it with no question!

If it sounds to good to be true then it prob is a RIP OFF!! I won't be hiring them. They always ask for your budget opposed to clearly stating a price and the funny thing is they don't work within your budget. I honestly think they only ask that to see how high they can set the price for you. I have a bad feeling about this company and I don't trust them!
